Ya'll liked the shapes of my Neopets so much that I wanted to try some shape language practice on Steve and Pals too! I'm really happy with how they came out and I think I might start incorporating more hard edges into their art moving forward.

Shapes! These are the next couple pages in my sketchbook, I started of just drawing random and not too complicated 3D shapes but then started drawing beans and flour sacks

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

i feel like... the last time i was really impressed by a 3D """"live action"""" animated creature was maybe the dragon from the (otherwise mid) 2013 hobbit movie... or the tiger from life of pi... I genuinely can't tell if we were more easily impressed back then or not but even looking at a clip now they just look so much more fluid and had a really nice weight/gravity that just isn't depicted in a lot of big-budget recent movies anymore
